Sometimes when you watch a movie, you think about how the actors in that movie have a lot of talent. As true as that is, think about actors who don't use a script! Yes, I'm talking about improv actors. Not only do they make everything up on the spot, but they are hilarious! You can't tell me it doesn't take some serious talent to be even funnier than actors with a script when your not even using one!
Anyway, there's these shows called Improv-a-Ganza and Whose Line is it Anyway, hosted by Drew Carey. Whose Line was around in the 90's I believe and Improv-a-Ganza is sort of the 2011 version. Actors include: Drew Carey, Ryan Stiles, Colin Mochrie, Wayne Brady, Chip Esten, Brad Sherwood, Jonathan Mangum, Greg Proops, Kathy Kinney, Heathner Anne Campbell, and Jeff Davis. Most of you probably know that I have an insane obsession with Jeff Davis (i follow him on Twitter!) but i wont go into detail on that because nobody really cares.
Games include Song for a lady, forward/reverse, new choice, freeze tag, and much, much more. Two to three actors will go up and play these games. If you want to see the shows, they come on every weeknight at 10pm on GSN and ABC. You should really watch these and tell me what you think!

Some people may want to learn how to play an instrument, but they're in doubt because they think they have to have musical talent to be able to learn. Although it is much easier if you have talent, (like me, and no I'm not conceited) it does not mean you don't have the ability to play. If you really practice and show dedication, you can play a musical instrument!
So, the next question is, which instrument should I play? Well, I can help you with making that decision. I will only be discussing two instruments, and those are piano and guitar, but this should still help you out.
These are both hand instruments, and they might seem like the same thing, but they are completely different. When you're playing guitar, you're playing chords or scales with one hand, while you're picking with the other. As for piano, you have both hands playing. Usually, your left hand is playing bass notes while your right hand is playing treble notes, but that can differ depending on what your playing.
Now, reading music is a totally different (and extremely complicated) thing. If you want to start reading music, i reccomend doing it on the guitar. Yes, it is a little hard to figure out which notes are where on which strings, but once you figure it out, its really not that hard. When your playing piano, as i said before, both hands are playing, so yo're reading two lines of music at once (one for each hand, and for the record, i can't even do this yet!)
Although reading music may be easier for guitar, when it comes to learning notes, piano is definately the way to go. It's easier because all the notes are just layed out in front of you. When you're playing guitar, like i said, different notes are in different places on different strings and its a little confusing.
So, the final question rises, which is better, piano or guitar? Well, it all depends on what skills you have and which one you are more willing to play. Thanks for reading my post!
